Meet Lauren

Hello there! I’m Lauren, the heart and soul behind Lovelee Living Pilates. As a certified Pilates instructor and a mom of three (one stillborn angel and two lively kiddos), I understand the incredible journey of motherhood, including all its ups and downs.

My Journey

My journey into Pilates and holistic health began at 15, during a turbulent time in my life. Both of my parents were battling cancer, and my father, unfortunately, passed away. Amidst this chaos, I found fitness to be my saving grace, igniting a deep passion for health and wellness.

PREGNANCY

When I reached 29, pregnancy hit me like a ton of bricks. This once always-in-shape busybody was suddenly overwhelmed by fatigue and physical challenges I hadn’t anticipated. The loss of our firstborn was a heartbreaking blow, and navigating the birth of our second child in the middle of a pandemic brought its own set of challenges. These experiences gave me a profound understanding and compassion for what women’s bodies endure, reigniting my commitment to health and wellness.

BACK TO HEALTHY & FEEELING STRONG

Five years later, I am finally back to a healthy weight and feeling strong, 19 months after our third baby girl. Throughout this journey, I’ve learned so much about resilience and self-care, and I’m passionate about sharing these insights. As I prepare for the possibility of more children, I’ll document my efforts to build strength and maintain health, sharing my choices and movements during and after future pregnancies to inspire others.

Ultimately, I hope to inspire you because we all have our own paths and our own pace. Wherever you are is great, and you can add a new bit of wellness when it feels right for you.

My Philosophy

At Lovelee Living Pilates, my philosophy is simple: Nourish, Move, Connect, Thrive. These four pillars guide everything I do, from teaching Pilates to writing blog posts and connecting with the community. I believe that when we take care of our bodies, nurture our minds, and build supportive connections, we can truly thrive in all areas of life.
